Lettings Administrator

Rubix Recruitment are seeking candidates on behalf of a client for a lettings administrator role in Central Manchester. This role plays an important role in the successful operation of a residential rental building under the clients management.

The client are a residential rental company with more than 40 years’ experience in the industry. They own and manage their own properties, owning over 25,000 apartments across the country, including co-ownership of 13,000 hotel rooms throughout the UK.

The responsibilities of the lettings administrator role will fall under 3 main headings and will cover (but not be limited to) the following;

Letting and administrative:

  • Conducting viewings to prospective tenants
  • Update of weekly social media letting platforms (e.g. right move, zoopla, on the move etc)
  • Assist with deposit production scheme set up and releases
  • Assist with the collection of rents, ensure collection and deposit on a timely basis
  • Utilise property management software to record transactions and run various operating reports

Customer Service:

  • Communicate effectively and courteously, weather face to face, via telephone or in writing, with resident issues and service requests are addressed within 24 hours

Protect & Nurture the asset:

  • Assist in undertaking scheduled flat inspections and recording of same
  • Assist in monitoring compliance with planned and reactive maintenance procedures, such as that buildings are safe for both our residents and our employees

To be considered for this role you will need;

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a property letting or related business (student accommodation, commercial buildings, hotels)
  • Strong sales skills and confidence in promoting a product
  • Advance skills In use of the business operating systems including Microsoft office/ property management systems
  • Positive attitude towards learning and training
  • Strong administration and organisation skills
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision when carrying out day-to day responsibility’s
  • Ability to work weekends: standard shift pattern: Friday to Tuesday and public holidays, if requested

This lettings and admin role offers a package of;

  • 10% Digressionary bonus
  • Full time
  • £18k basic
