Estate Manager

Rubix Recruitment have been instructed on a search for an Estate Manager to join a leading residential property management company, based in their South-Central London based offices.

As Estate Manager, you will be expected to deliver an excellent property management service across a portfolio of a prime, high-end development of 250 units. As you will be managing a team, this role would suit someone with leadership experience. A highly client facing role, as Estate Manager you will ideally have a strong background in customer service. Your core duties will include: –

  • Regular monthly visits to each development
  • Managing on-site routine contractors
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
  • Managing a small team of 1 x Assistant Estate Manager and 4 x Concierge
  • Knowledge and production of service charge budgets for client approval
  • Management of accounts and budgets
  • Organise and attending AGM and EGMs when necessary
  • Overseeing major works under Section 20 notices
  • Ensuring the Estate complies with Health and Safety legislation

Our client is looking for someone who has good knowledge of the property market and has a strong background in high-end customer service. I am looking for someone who is confident liaising and building relationships with people at all levels and is confident leading a team, with a good understanding of service charge budgets and Section 20. I am looking for the following skillset: –

  • Confident delivering excellent customer service
  • Demonstrable leadership skills from a previous leadership role
  • Previous experience in a property related role
  • Highly proactive
  • Good knowledge on Section 20 and service charge budgets
  • Highly organised
  • Able to prioritise a heavy workload and multitask effectively
  • Natural problem-solver
